Perfecting Lip Primer

I love all Nude By Nature primers! The really have got the formulas sorted on these! I love this lip primer as well as I find it glides effortlessly over my lips and evens them out in dryer areas. My skin is on the dryer side all of the time and this really helps hide those imperfections. A+

The nude by nature lip primer was the first lip primer I have ever used and I was extremely impressed with the results. It left my lips prepped and primed ready for lipstick application. It sealed off the cracks in my lips that stopped products from seeping in. It created such a smooth base that enabled smooth and easy application for my lipstick. It also extended the life of my lipstick too.

Used in conjunction with a wet and a dry (not nude by nature ) lipstick for this trial I was very impressed to see the results and do not know why I have not tried a primer in the past! It saved my from having to re apply my lipstick multiple times and it also helped my lips to look fuller and more plump that they usuall would if I had not used it! A great trial

Nude By Nature’s Perfecting Lip Primer is an untinted product that is meant to give your lips the best possible base for adding colour. This primer contains Kakadu Plum, Vitamin E and Shea Butter which condition and smooth the lips and it also contains “optical blurring spheres” which are meant to “provide a smoother looking finish and help prevent feathering and promote longer wear”. The primer goes on clear and slightly opaque and it is a little thick and slightly matte so once applied my lips look a bit palest while it’s colourless it’s not invisible, the texture is meant to provide a good base and grip for further lip products, especially the new Satin Liquid Lipstick. I do think that the texture helps minimise my lip lines and allows for a smoother application of colour. Once applied it leaves my lips feeling kind of velvety and not slick or slippery likes balm.

The product comes in a wind-up bullet that is off white with gold trim and lettering and actually looks quite classy. There is no obvious taste or smell which is always a big tick for me.

This is a very basic, base product that does the job it’s supposed to, nothing flashy or fancy, and I really like it.

I was lucky to be chosen for the Nude By Nature Perfecting Lip Primer and Lipstick trial.

I have never used a lip primer before, so this was a new product for me. The first time I applied the primer it made my lips tingle – I needed to exfoliate my lips.

Second time, no issues, the primer applied perfectly. I let it dry and then applied my lip liner and the beautiful Satin Liquid Lipstick, a perfect duo. Did it make my lipstick last longer – not sure, as I eat lipstick.

Lots of wonderful ingredients are in the Lip Primer, to name a few Shea Butter, Mango Seed Butter, Vitamin E, and many more. I will use as a lip balm and well as a perfecting lip primer, it goes on easily, makes your lips feel nourished and moisturized. There is no lingering fragrance.

I was very fortunate to use this product as part of the trial team. I have never used a lip primer before so this was a new experience. I do however always pre-moisturise my lips so I tried this instead of my usual routine.

I quite like the product. It is easily applied, leaving a light and creamy texture on the lips. I prefer this to a lip moisturiser which can be a lot thicker and takes longer to seep in. So the primer sat well, and I didn't have to wait to apply my liner and lipstick.

Using the primer meant that my lipstick held its power and colour for longer, and there was less drying out of my lips throughout the day.

The packaging is great, the primer comes in a lovely rose-gold hue that looks sleek and high-end. The cardboard box is recyclable which is great too.

I also love that it is jam packed with natural ingredients so you can avoid all the nasties.
